Just wondering if there are any FTV channels worth adding to my Humax Fox Sat HDR box. If so where will I find the list etc.
    Thanks

You wont be able to add FTV channels to Humax Fox Sat HDR

FTV is a once off payment card for a Sky digibox

Freeview = a Aerial service available to the UK

Humax Fox Sat HDR Box. = Freesat = Satellite tv service

The only FTA channel that might be worth adding (but not for the content) is Luxe HD - the picture quality is far superior to BBC or ITV HD

To add FTA channels on a Humax Freesat box you have to run a "manual tune" (which isn't in fact manual)

FTV applies only to Sky Digibox with UK card.

You are confusing Free To View with Freeview.

FTV channels on satellite include Channel 4 HD, five HD and the digital only five channels. These can not be added to a Freesat box.

Yes you are Right. I do know the difference. and i should have read the post Twice but anyhow
its becoming Regular Occurrence here in this Satellite thread with posters who call everything FreeView or FTV.

If you meant FTA channels, then Sky News is on 12,207V.

Sorry everyone, you are right I meant FTA.:o I read about the manual tune but was afraid I might upset the Freesat tune. So only Lux HD and Sky news at the moment.
    Thanks

I find that the Travel Channel often has very good shows on it.

Full list of channels (and their frequencies & settings) here. See what takes your fancy.

    I recommend Supreme Master TV.

You have to manually switch between freesat and non-freesat mode in the menu.
