    Hi All

As metioned in an earlier thread - family are heading to Florida from after christmans and early new year. Spening first part in Orlando and then going to coasts for sun.

We had planned to hear over to Clear water on Jan 1st for a week, but have been told it could be cold (around 15 C) and we should head south as far as Naples on Gulf Coast or Fort Lauderdate on Alantic Coast -- a bit of a pain as the trip back to Orlando Airport will be 4 hours instead of 2 (but we may head up to some where nearer on last night)

Can any one tell us is which is warmest in January Gulf or Alantic ?

-- How far south of Olando do we have to go to expect reasonable warm weather. We hope furtherest on Gulf would be Naples or Lauderdale on Alantic Coast ?

Any one stay with family (kids 7 and 9) in either coast in early Jan and what was it like ? Weather\Costs ? Where you recommend to stay ?

    Thanks
    B
