    Buy it @ Play.com
X-Men: Born into a world filled with prejudice are children who possess extraordinary and dangerous powers-the result of unique genetic mutations. Cyclops unleashes bolts of energy from his eyes. Storm can manipulate the weather at will. Rouge absorbs the life force of anyone she touches. But under the tutelage of Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart), these and other outcasts learn to harness their powers for the good of mankind. Now they must protect those who fear them as the nefarious Magneto (Ian Mckellen), who believes humans and mutants can never co-exist, unveils his sinister plan for the future!

X2:The time has come for those who are different to stand united...

The X-Men have to band together to find a mutant assassin who has made an attempt on the President's life, while the Mutant Academy at Westchester is attacked by military forces prompting some uncomfortable home truths for Wolverine...

X-Men 3:Take a stand... When a pharmaceutical company publicises a 'cure' to suppress mutations, lines are drawn amongst the X-Men, led by Professor Charles Xavier (Stewart), and the Brotherhood, a band of powerful mutants organized under Xavier's former ally, Magneto (McKellen)...

X-Men: Origins - Wolverine: Leading up to the events in the X-Men film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells the story of Wolverine's (Hugh Jackman) epically violent past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.

  • Great value! Using my advanced maths skills I believe it works out around €6 a blu ray. Great stuff! Not too sure about the Last Stand though.

Why is it that every time a post goes up here about play that people start to rant on about their exchange rates. This sounds like a good Bargin and for €6.38 approx thats a BARGIN as per the OP. Fair play OP.

    Indeed...

I'd be the first to complain about Play.com's exchange rate, but I tend to only post Play.com bargains when there isn't a cheaper sterling equivalent on Sendit / Asda / Amazon etc.

Sorry all, i am a bit sore today with Play.

I did not mean to hijack the thread.

I was shopping for some headphones today and was looking at these:

    http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/10852732/Sennheiser-CX300-II-Precision-ECO-Headphones/Product.html?cur=257

9.99GBP and when converted they are €29.99.

Super bargain alert and end of rant :o

They won't ship it here anyways...

Just add a new address, put United Kingdom as the country and IRELAND as the postcode and order away in sterling.

I tried this a couple of weeks ago and made 2 seperate orders. Both were dispatched last week, but not received yet (not worried as it took 2 weeks for a book I ordered to be delivered).

One of my orders was for an electronic item, wanted to see if that would work. It was dispatched alright. See attached image.

    Interesting!

I would be apprehensive about it myself.

I must try it on a small item maybe.

That's what I did. Seeing as it has been dispatched, hopefully the only problem will be the eternity it seems to take to arrive!

    Sheesh.. I wouldn't risk it!

I'd say that would be a case of checking your account a couple of months later and noticing that you've been refunded for an undeliverable item, would be amazed if it actually turned up!!!

That is a shocking exchange rate mind you, £4.50 per disc vs €6.38!
If I didn't already own the only film in the series that's worth owning (imo), then I would've snapped this right up!
    Good find basqy

It's the adjustment for Irish VAT.

The price to is pushed up to £20.80 with delivery, but spend over £25 with free delivery.

I was going to order two sets to get the free shipping.
    It comes in at ...
    Order Total: £37.06

Anyone want a set at half of whatever I'm charged on my card?
I can meet in Dublin or post for free :)

It can work to your advantage. I bought the Harry Potter blurays that were posted here and I would have had to buy something else should I want free postage. The Irish VAT rate actually saved me money, hurrah.

Yeah.. I've noticed this. Spend roughly £24 and the Irish VAT rate will push it up over the £25.

Unfortunately, anything over £50 can only be delivered to the cardholder address.
So unless you have the address on your card set to UK with postcode Ireland you are out of luck!!!!
