    Hi,

Just wondering is the following possible.

32" Widescreen TV (iDeal make, old model, origionally bought through ESB many years ago).

DVD players connected to Sky+ box which is in turn connect to TV (AV1, all SCART cables).

Nitendo Wii connected to TV using RGB video cable.

Both DVD players & Wii are normally in standby.

Lately TV switches itself to standby after a while. This can happen several times per night. TV might come back on (using remote, not by itself) after 10 mins. Last few nights TV did not come back until 1hr+.

    So I did the following.

Powered off DVD player & Wii and disconnected from Sky+ box & TV.

So now, only Sky+ connected to TV via SCART (to AV1).

All last night TV stayed on, no problems. So far this morning, no issues.

Is it possible that either DVD player or Nitendo Wii could send a standby signal to TV?

EDIT: Of course I realise that it is entirely possible that there may be a problem with TV itself (old model and all). Thanks.
