    I'm moving to Dublin (Clontarf area) but need to drive to Limerick at least one morning a week.
    Anyone have any idea how early I'd have to leave Clontarf to get to the M7 for about 07:30?

    Any ideas on the best/fastest route for early mornings? :
    - North from Clontarf -> M1 -> M50?
    - South From Clontarf -> Quays -> Con Colbert -> Naas Rd?
    - South From Clontarf -> East Wall -> Ringsend -> Canal -> Nass Rd?
    - South From Clontarf -> East Wall -> Ringsend -> South -> M50?

    All advise greatly appreciated :-)

    If you can leave just early enough to beat the rush hour traffic, you could head down the Quays and out the Con Colbert road, M50, N7. This would be the fastest in light traffic. If you leave Clontarf before 7:00 you could miss most of the traffic, but after 7:00 traffic starts building pretty fast.

    Where do you need to be at 7.30am specifically? Traffic will be light enough if you're leaving at 7am to make the M7 by 7.30am

    dcr22B, I reckon leaving from the red cow at 07:30 will get me to Limerick in about 2 hrs with the new motorway, thats where the 07:30 came from, thanks.

    Right, if you were to leave Clontarf at 7am and go through town and down the quays, you should make the Red Cow by 7.30am or so.
