Hi,

I'm looking for a laptop for about €500, hopefully a little less. It wont be used for games, mostly word processing, some minor web design and projecting DVDs on occasion(this isn't a priority). I don't need a lot of RAM(at least 2gig though) or a large HDD. A DVD writer would be nice and inbuilt sound and graphics(as long as it could run a DVD smoothly) would be fine.

I've given up on Dell as there seems to be little in the way of value there at the moment. Could you suggest something that would suit me please?
