Mail on iphone 3gs

    i had synced by email account (hotmail) to the mail app on my iphone 3gs which was working fine. I had to reset my password on my email which i did on the laptop and now i cannot access my email on my iphone it says "cannot get mail the user name or password for xxxxxx@hotmail.com is incorrect," it does not give me any option to renter my password and i cannot figure out how to do this!! please somebody help!!!:confused:

    you need to change the password on the phone as well...


    settings >> mail, contact, cal >>*name of email account* >> account info >> change your password here to what you changed it to on the laptop.

    if you ever change your hotmail password again you need to change it on the phone also

    Make sure ya go into smpt aswell and change the password there or else ya won't be able to send mail
