Oakridge Airsoft Sniper Game and Open Day 10/10/10

    Hey all the wolfpack are holding a sniper game at oakridge next week, details are below after that I will be have a free skirmish afternoon as an open day, we will have retailers on site

    the cost for the sniper game is 40 euro and the prize is a sniper rifle

    Timings:
    Wolfpack arrive08:00
    Registration :08:30-09:30
    Brief for players: 09:30
    First games: 10:00-11:15.
    Lunch: 11:15-11:45
    Second Games:11:45-13:15
    Presentations:13:45-14:00
    Free Skirmish day from that time onwards.

    Structure:

    At 08:30 players will arrive and sign in.
    At 09:30 They will be given a brief brief on the day.They will then be broken up into two groups

    We will run two games/competitions simultainiously and swap around game areas
    The first two games will be:
    1) Camo and concealment( 3-5 will have five mins to hide in the valley and must remain hidden from two marshals who are hunting them . The marshals will be armed and will indicate the spotted them by firing at them. The min distance for spotting will 5-10feet. If you get that close and dont see them, dont shoot. They will have rifles but will not be allowed to fire back)
    2) Observation( The group will 8-10 airsoft related objects to find. These will be dotted around the field and various distances. This is a points based game and points will be awarded for every object they find. They will have a 30 min time limit.)

    The second two games
    1) Stalk( The group will have to make it from the carpark to a 5 meter area around the bottom right gaurd tower. One marshal in the tower will act as spotter, the other two will be give directions from him and walk over to the players that have been spotted place thier hand on him. At that point he will be out of the game. The marshals walking around will not be allowed to give away a players location and will not give the spotter any help. There will be a 30 min time limit on this)

    2) Marksmanship( games to be confirmed. They will be very short score based games)

    Addtional Info:
    Equipment:
    Players will carry all equipment(bar pellets) that they need for the day.
    We would advise them however, to bring at least the following:
    .Rifle(possibly a back-up)
    .Pistol
    .Good camoflage
    .Spotter scope or Binos.
    .Spare warm gear
    .Tested eye protection


    Weapon Restrictions:
    All weapons must conform to IAA standards and Irish Law.
    They must be a long barrelled 6mm weapon capable of firing on single shot.
    A standard pellet weight (. 23 or .25gms) will be issued during the marksman ship games.

    Registration:
    All contendors must register on our website http://www.wolfpack-ireland.webs.com/.
    ( although we wont encourage walk-ons we wont turn them away on the day)
    Price will be 40 euro payable on the day.
