Can i now use my paypal a/c when my account verification hasnt been verified yet?

Ok i checked the sticky on paypal and the answer wasn't on itin the account verification quesion. So i want to buy someting from ebay for my friend. I set up my paypal account (as the seller only accepts paypal rather than just cards) and went ahead to verify my card. My question is can i go ahead and use my paypal account…

My question is can i go ahead and use my paypal account even though i havent finishing verifyig my card as it paypal charge to do so hasnt shown up on my account yet?
