I have a telephone interview with a large bookmaker this Wednesday. I am currently researching questions I may be asked. One of the questions is the dreaded "What are your salary expectations?" does anybody know a good answer or even a rough guide to rates of pay in this industry "Telephone Betting Operator". Any info would be greatly appreciated.

In Dundalk you're talking from minimum wage to €20k. I'd reckon around €18k. But also consider overtime, bonuses and pension contributions.

These jobs are usually advertised with a particular rate of pay. Also, generally you should try to avoid pay discussion at the interview stage.
