Sex addict my hole, the guys just a randy old bastard. I love how his PR team have spun the story to try and gain sympathy for Tiger by placing a veneer of respectability over his actions by saying he has a condition. I had more respect for him when he was more Sid James than Sigmund Freud.

No, it really is golf. At least with rugby there's some action going on! With golf programmes, all you see is a shot of the golfer getting ready to swing, a lovely view of the sky and then the camera pans back to the ground to show where the ball's landed. They almost always have the most boring voices to comment as well.

Whatever about playing golf (I assume there must be some attraction in it for those who play) but why would anyone want to watch hours upon hours of golf footage?

In fairness, the golfer is hitting a tiny ball sometimes around 300 yrds, with a long piece of metal and more often than not gets it to land a matter of feet from the hole. If you or I tried that we would struggle to hit the ball, never mind get it to do that! There is alot of skill involved, and fans appreciate that.
Anyway, how many people have we all spoken to who say football and rugby is just a bunch of men following a ball around a field and beating each other up. The worth of any sport is purely subjective.
