Media Monkey and iPod

I have deleted iTunes and installed MediaMonkey. Got all my music sorted ( Album art and Tags etc).

But when I went to sync to iPod, the music on the iPod is a mixture of the old iTunes and the new Media Monkey library ( alot of albums have each song twice). I can manually delete each album from the iPod but is there a quicker way?

I'll admit I eventually RTFM (Help section on Media Monkey).

After doing all that was involved in configuring iPod to Media Monkey, I started to sync the iPod and about 3/4 thru the process, I get error reports stating that folders could not be created ( I believe these folders are for the album art on the iPod).

So I ignore all these warnings and when the sync process is finished the iPod is still displaying "do not disconnect". I manually remove the device but the iPod is frozen and the disk spinning.

I've been able to unfreeze the iPod but this just returns me to the beginning with no music.

Anyone experience this trouble and what was the fix? I'm off browsing solutions but any help is appreciated.
