Hey all, just installed a magic eye to a tv upstairs and it works perfectly , only problem is the sky box seems to be running a bit louder than before its not noticable when the tv is on but just sounds like a small harddrive is running, just wondering if this is normal after turning on the power output on rf2 or is the sky box on its last legs?

Have never seen any problems like your talking about when switiching on the rf power for a magic eye, where have you got your skybox, it should be in a well ventilated area as the fan will switch on to keep the box cool...

Hey steve, the box is on a shelf on its own for the last four years with no problem just happened the day i plugged the cable in for the second tv. the sound is more like a soft hum rather than a fan going.

Maybe you distrubed something in the box with moving it, give the box a tap and see if it quiets down ;)
