Hello all....just wanted to know your thoughts on this and maybe share your experiences.

I have a working cocker bitch that is working very well....she is extremely hyper, she is 2 1/2 years old. I just want to know is she always going to be like this?? She also barks like mad when on a scent, not just in cover. Over all I think she's a bit of a nutter! Is this normal, as she is my first cocker!!

Thanks lamper...I just wanted to know what other people thought of this characteristic! I know she would be frowned upon be field trials men for it...but thats nothing unusual...the bitch is mad for going. Finding it impossible to stop her at the minute too....

Hilarious stuff this morning - the spaniel cross caught the biggest rat I've seen for ages and while shaking it lost control and sent the thing flying 10 yards:eek::D

Yep - and took great pleasure in whacking it against the nearest fence post. She's one of those bitches that lives to kill:D
