My accountant charges me €800-€850 per annum to submit my end of year tax returns.
i have a suckler herd of 25 cows and a rental property also.
is this about the go of it or am i paying too much?
i go through all the incoming and outgoings and e mail him all the info and then have a 1 to 1 meeting with him to clarify a few things and i send him a follow up e mail then.
i take care of my VAT rebate myself during the year.

I do the returns myself, its not rocket science to do for a small farm of 55 suckler pairs. And besides at the end of the day you are still signing off on the accounts done by the accountant to say they are correct and true,
so why pay him 800 Euro to do this if were in a recession?
