Anyone else play this, i wasn't holding out much hope for it after looking at the videos but after playing the demo im very impressed, reminds me so much of the original colin Mcrae. It doesn't seem to suffer from the gliding on ice feeling Dirt 2 had.

Demo gives you 2 cars and 2 different tracks to test out took me a few goes to get the hang of it but its just like old times now whipping around corners sideways. Im sure the full game will give you plenty of car setup options to fine tune it but im seriously considering buying it now.

Saw it but havn't enjoyed a rally game since the original Mcrea game which I absolutely loved. Since the op says its like that, might just give it a go. The original mcrea was mindblowing stuff. Loved sliding round, car getting manky, brilliant track layouts. where did it go wrong after that!

I was the same i wasnt going to give this much of a blast beyond playing the demo, and for the first 2 or 3 races i didnt think much of it. But it soon started growing on me. I guess ive just played too many games that dont handle correctly GT and Dirt for example that i forgot simple things like you need to keep flicking the steering wheel going around corners.

Nothing can come close to GT5 for track racing but the rally side of it has always been terrible. They never got the handling right.

Ill wait on this one as ive a feeling it will be 21 euro a week or two after release on Zavvi then ill pick it up.

i thought the graphics were terrible to be honest, just kept saying to myself these cant be from a next gen game and it must be a psn re-release

Graphics dont make the game but yea it isnt the best looking but it is the best driving mechanics which is what i want.

Just making an observation tbh, never said it made the demo or not. Actually think I'd prefer style of handling from Colin 05 (or possibly even dirt) but its too long since I played either game to compare
