ok lads and ladies, need your opinion and advice.
put a 5 euro accum on 6 results

    west ham fulham....draw 11/5
    birmingham everton......everton 17/10
    sunderland utd.........draw 5/2
    stoke blackburn........stoke 13/10
    liverpool blackpool......liverpool 1/3
    man city newcastle.......man city 4/9

first question. how do i calculate the total odds??

2nd question, ive heard about laying off bets but can i do it for my accum and would there be value in it. i think it means i should back newcastle and blackpool just in case but im more of a casual gambler so im not really sure.

any advice or help much appreciated

Well you can always use an accumulator calculator (google).

If you want to know how to actually do it yourself - add 1 point to each selection and multiply all.

For example, a double on your first two selections would be:

    (16/5)*(27/10) = 8.64/1

Just do the same with all your selections.

The 16 is got from 11+5, and the 27 from 17+10

good thing about your selections and the possibility to lay them is that Man city can be layed for 1.5 and Liverpool for 1.37

Since you only bet €5 initially Im guessing you dont have any money at a betting exchange? to lay properly you would need a few hundred there to do it properly

you could make a guaranteed few hundred euros from this accumulator if you did it properly

If I was you, I would back blackpool and drawas Liverpool are usually the team that lets everyone when waiting on a bet to come in, especially now since they have terrible all season and I actually fancy Blackpool to win as they will come to attack. Hodgson has been playing most of his players out of position and we don't even have a left back for the game or a proper left midfielder and if we see Lucas and Poulsen in cm it willl end 0-0. This is also coming from a Liverpool fan.

If hodgson allowed them to play and attack I would be extremely hopeful of win but he is too defensive to let it happen.

You'd probably have to wait until after City game to lay off but potential there. Fingers crossed for you.

While I'm here can anyone explain this to me? I can't quite work it out. Had a free twenty bet with PP. Backed a double at 1.9 and 11/10. Potential returns of €60.18 quoted which I can't figure out. I get €79.80. Even assuming they don't return the stake on a free bet that would still be €59.80. Anyone any ideas where they got €60.18 from?

BTW, OP. My double is on same two teams you're waiting for so I may have killed any chance you had :)
