Hi all. I've just started a postgrad in college and am two weeks in but am thinking of dropping out! I have applied for a grant and haven't heard back (Meath Co. Council). When i was registering in college they said they would invoice the council for my fees. I was just wondering, if my form hasn't been processed yet can i just withdraw my application?? Its just that I didn't get into my preferred postgrad this year so will be applying for it next year and should get it so if I drop out now I can still get the grant for that postgrad next year, rather than getting the grant this year...failing the course, which is a possibility and dropping out mid-year and being left with nothing and no chance of a grant for the postgrad I want to.

Write them a letter, should be no problem i'd say. Ring them as well, to confirm.
