    hi all,

that's it really. I'm not in dublin but want to send flowers to somebody in Blackrock. I know I can google it, but would love a recommendation from somebody who has used the florists personally.

    Thanks in advance :).

Theres a shop i use in Leopardstown, its called Fleurtatious, they are fantastic!!! They also have a website that u can order online.

They are great and they will deliver to Blackrock. There is a florist in a shopping centre in Blackrock but it doesnt deliver.

Well everyone has their own opinion. I have used them (fleurtatious) a good few times. The first time was for a funeral and the girl there was very professional, she took her time to discuss everything to us and made things a bit easier.

I had a ridiculous experience with another florist for a different funeral a few years ago. They fecked up the flowers. "DAUGHTER" was ordered and "DAGHTER" was sent out. By the time it was copped and sorted out, it missed the funeral, and they charged twice for the delivery on their mess up. I wont name and shame tho.

Anyway, the girl in Fleurtatious has always been great on the customer service front, the shop is nice and her stuff is always great. I tend to go back to places that iv never had a problem with.

I thought the place in Blackrock didnt deliver, I rang about a year ago and a foreign girl ( i think she might have been chinese ) said they dont deliver. I dont know what its called, may not be Justins, but its in B'rock S.C, not the Frascati one.

    No, no link at all.

I have almost 800 posts and out of those posts I have mentioned that florists in 2 threads. If I had a link to them im sure there would be more posts than that. I didnt put up a phone number, email or website address. Since when are 3 posts considered a link to a business. The content of my posts arent exactly great PR or advertising for them. They are simply my experiences from using them.

I post on this forum from time to time and whenever I can add something to a thread, I do. Feel free to go through the rest of my posts and question me on them.

If I adopt your attitude, I would ask you why you are so interested in my posts and maybe question why you are asking the question.

So, greenbicycle the answer is no and tbh I am annoyed at your ignorance.

    Wow,defensive... I was just asking!

Why would be bothered going through your posts? I just noticed that you mentioned the florists twice because I started the other thread and was obviously following it...

People get defensive to queries like that because advertising can get you banned. Simple.

    Well I was just answering!

Yeah you are right, it did come off defensive and it was meant to be. You were suggesting that I was breaking www.boards.ie protocol. You asked a question in your thread, the OP asked a question in this thread and I answered both. I do believe that this is the point of an internet discussion forum??????

Ah well, as Whoopsadaisydoodles said "advertising can get you banned", and I dont want anyone to think im an undercover florist promoter with shadow ops ulterior motives now do I?

Thats enough of the OT chat, I will now try to keep my posts to a minimum in this forum so I dont waste your valuable time by arousing suspicion.
