I want to delete some programs from my C: Drive and wondered if one of these could be deleted if they are doing the same job.

    They are
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11
    and
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6

    Also is this needed
    Dell Support 3.2.1

    Any help appreciated

You can uninstall all the J2SE Runtime Environment entries - just leave the latest one.
    Dell Support 3.2.1

You don't really need this either.

If you are low on disk space, best to delete or move to an external hdd some files first,

there is a disk cleanup utility in windows which may help

Also search your C: drive for any large files, say over 1mb in size, when windows has finished searching, click on the size column to sort them by size, so the the largest in displayed first. Dont delete any system files here, the kinda stuff you should be looking for is large, music files, movies, pics, ppt, iso etc.

Regarding the dell support program, I'm not sure, but would guess it would go to the Dell site and install the latest Dell drivers/Bios etc for your pc/laptop.
    Not essential but very handy

You can turn off system restore and delete any restore points to free up space, but this does away with the ability to restore your PC if probs arise with windows, so this would be v much a last resort

Your dell support program may have a utility to graphically show what is taking up your disk spac, or download one drive space analyzer or similar

Run ccleaner to delete temporary files is the best way to free up space, Windows never deletes anything, every image from every webpage You visited online is stored until You tell windows to delete it.

Run Malwarebytes when thats done, this removes any malware, spyware etc

    Defrag the hard drive after
