Electric oven faulty

Pizza was very chrisp but not burnt. Also the oven was very smokey opening the door and the apartment filled with smoke. Also I didnt use the hob last night but that felt very warm. That never happened before. I thought maybe the oven was dirty, so i cleaned it today. There was also a lingering burn smell all day.

Tonight, I went to make dinner. I turned the switch at the wall and within seconds in the oven an element that was very very red and all knobs were off. I never noticed that before. Did anyone here experience anything like that before.
