This has to be the most detailed sale I've seen in a long time. Seriously impressive. The car here would probably make a grand or two. It's already at 5,500 USD and will probably go higher in the end. Gorgeous :

In the worlds largest and most important car market, the US, thats a normal thing to give out. So normal its a standard field on eBay US.

All the worrying about "log books" and "chassis numbers" is something people only worry about here, in one of the most unimportant car markets. Not quite sure why we get worked up over stuff thats the "norm" elsewhere. And before anyone jumps in, no you cannot ring up a garage with the VIN and order another key. If you can, then the garage is liable (which they dont want to be, so you cant..).

Id be more concerned about the cars identity been stolen. Stolen car same make, model, colour, being fitted with the VIN and reg of a legal legitimate car.

Most newer cars even if you have the key which has been cut according to the manufactures VIN database. You still have to present the car to get the key coded to the ECU, immobiliser, central locking etc and they charge well for it :P

It's a good ad for what looks like a great bm. I like the bit that the winner must deposit $2k within 48hours of sale by money transfer, and ebay rules say
NEVER pay for a vehicle by instant cash transfer, such as Western Union or Moneygram.

Yeah its a very detailed ad, but I don't really understand why he's going to all that bother for a 16 year old BMW 325is. I'd get it if it was an M3 or something.....

Mind you, the driver must have levitated over that seat cos it does look brand new!

Or else he drives around naked, oh wait that might cause a mark or too :pac:.

Unusual to find a manual 325i in the US.

Asking 8,500 for a E36 325 is madness no matter how clean it is
