Mother is coming to stay over the winter and need to get a freeview/freesat set up in the spare bedroom, there is a rte aerial connection already in the room and access to cables coming from the dish as well…

Hello, Need help from a boffin

Have Sky+ in living room and extra box in the kids room pay 15ish per mth for it.

Mother is coming to stay over the winter and need to get a freeview/freesat set up in the spare bedroom, there is a rte aerial connection already in the room and access to cables coming from the dish as well in another part of the crawl space.

any have any ideas of the cheapest way to do this ?

You can add a free to air box to give you bbcs and itvs for a once off fee. You say you have a sky + and one other sky box therefore, you should have 1 free output on the dish.

By running a cable to the room you require you can get a fta box installed.
