iPhone & Google Street View

Now that the whole country is street view enabled are there any apps that take advantage of this?

Took me a while to figure out how to view street view images on the iPhone 4 but very impressive once you know how.

Yeah, looks great. I saw the car drive past me when I was at Liffey Valley and lo and behold there I am!!

Must admit to being confused by above few posts.

OP asks how to get Street view on iPhone and then says he can do it on iPhone 4 but doesn't tell us how.
Then next poster says how great it is without answering question!


Anyhow, discovered how to do it.

In the default Maps ap (not a downloaded Google Maps Ap) you need to drop a pin on a location.

Then select Orange person icon on left and then it switched to Street view and works very well.

Don't know why Google/Apple have made this great feature so complicated to get to instead of it being a simple option.

Don't worry murpho, confusion is not an ignoble condition on boards. All part of it's fun. You'll get used to it! And if you read the post properly he never asked such a thing. He actually got it to work and ended up by saying how impressive it was, I merely concurred.

Surely there must be an app that combines augmented reality and street view ? Maybe not yet.
