Travel Agent?

It seems kinda funny that with the ease of booking stuff on the internet, using a travel agent is almost completely unnecessary. However, in the last I've used them and find that you can sometimes get a better deal with packages they have, and they sort out stuff like transfers for you too which is handy.

I'm planning a trip to LA & Vegas for me and a friend who lives in Australia, we're both flying into LA, hire a car, head to Vegas and after explore California, San Fran etc.

Should I give a travel agent a go or is there little point? Any recommendations of good travel agents for the US?

TBH I think it depends on what you want do. Somethings you just need a travel agent for certain things. Like a safari for instance. Or a RTWT or doing specific things.

Why not enquire with the travel agent and compare and contrast with what you can do yourself. The travel agent might be able to get you better deals.

Just booked a week away with travel agent got it few quid cheaper than online. Also travel agents often have deals that aren't always online

I'd say it normally works out cheaper to book online TBH but not always so certainly no harm in checking out an agents and comparing
