I get my eye brows and lip threaded regularly, and yesterday I was in Blanchchardstown and decided to try the place there, just past 'Penny's', in a hut kinda thing (it was originally in the front of Debenhams).
Anyway I asked the girl how much it would be and I could have sworn she said €13 so I went ahead and got it done.

Fast forward the 5 minutes it took to get it done, and I went up to pay, handed in a twenty and she looked at me and said its €30!

I couldn't believe the price, I normally pay around €12-€15, and for a much better job at that!

Anyway thats my rant for the day!

    Tbh, that doesn't sound unreasonable?
You got your eyebrows done... and you got your upper lip done? For 30 euro?
If I understand that right, it does sound okay. (Its been a difficult week, my head is melted so sorry if I got it wrong :o )

What I would be pissed off at, would be if they had it done in 5 minutes... Doesn't sound very thorough. What I would love to know is.. where do you get them done for 12?!

According to this thread on threading, 30 euro would be very much the upper end of the scale.

There's also lots of places mentioned which do it for cheaper.

Well if its 16/18 for brows, it would be 14/12 for lip. That doesn't sound so outrageous.

We'll I have paid €12-€15 for both, but in fairness in wasn't in Dublin, so I suppose there is a difference in prices. I do still think €30 is quite excessive, especially when it was done in 5 minutes, ah well ya live and learn!!!

I got it done there a few weeks ago and I think it was 17, much less than 30 anyway

If youre not happy, go back! Seriously, I cant imagine theyd have been able to do a good job in 5 minutes anyway.
Even if they do nothing, just say it loud enough for potential customers to hear!
