USA has always been in the foreground of racial integration, particularly now with Obama at the helm. I must say I am glad they have come so far as to have a black president.

A couple of days ago or so I stumbled upon these race maps from cartographer Eric Fischer (I'm a big map geek).
It amazes me the integration is still so weak, or so it seems from the maps.
I guess I don't have a particular question other that the maps are fascinating.
Some for London, including one with Irish neighbourhoods

One question could be, is this what will happen in Ireland too with increased immigration? Will the various ethnicities clump together in estates in our towns and cities?
At the moment in Galway it seems to me that this is not the case.

    Red - whites
    Blue - blacks
    Orange - latinos
    Green - asians
