Just wondering peoples thoughts on the following. Hoping to book something this weekend and open to suggestion on the following:

    Killarney: Aghadoe Heights
    Killarney: Muckross House
    Kenmare: Sheen Falls
    Laois: The Heritage
    Cork: Fota Island
    Cork: Hayfield Manor

Never been to any of them but was in Killarney over the summer and really liked it there. Looking for something nice for myself and my gf (both mid twenties), preferably not too old style.

    Thanks

For what it's worth Hayfield Manor is the top Cork hotel on Trip Advisor. I've been reading the reviews as I'm going to Cork in November and they are all very complimentary.

I have stayed in Fota, Hayfield Manor, Sheen Falls and Muckross House and I would pick Hayfield Manor as being the best out of those.

It depends really though, Hayfield Manor is 5 minute walk to Cork City centre which is cool if you want a city trip.
If you want a trip to the country I would pick Sheen Falls as Kenmare is a beautiful town and the hotel is quality also.

Of the Killarney ones I'd pick the Aghado, to be honest I cannot see how the Muckross House is 5 Star

Another Killarney option may be The Europe or The Park

I stayed here 3 times. (The Aghadoe). The views of the lakes were so amazing and the staff were very friendly. Make sure you ask for a room with a lake view and the spa is also fantastic.
Your girlfriend will be very impressed!

Gonna book this tonight if there's any more input? Its down to The Heritage or Sheen Falls now as the others are no longer available for the dates I'm looking at. Thanks again
