Samsung Kies Problems!!!

    Hi folks.

    Logging on to Kies, it tells me theirs a new update available (for Kies not the phone)
    Its trying to update to version 1.5.3.10093.80

    Update agent has been stuck at 50% now for an hour (this is the second time)
    extracting files 0/589 calender.xml.cab is what it seems to be 'downloading'

    Sick of this crap now!

    Anyone any ideas, trying to upgrade firmware on my galaxy s

    Try rebooting the phone before you connect.
    Anything running in the background will likely stop the update working.

    Did you get sorted Gucky?

    Had the same problem myself, I fixed it by uninstalling the current version,

    then downloading this version from samsung(which was the same version I had!)

    and then letting it upgrade. And it seems to work.

    Such a crap piece of software though.

    Lots of people are having trouble and getting stuck at 50%
