Liverpool airport

    Going through here later this evening to get a connecting flight. How big is this airport? I only have an hour and 40 mins between flights.

    Made a mistake booking my flight.

    Its a fairly small airport tbh ,on a par with Cork airport,you have plenty of time for your connecting flight

    You have more than enough time. Liverpool is only a boutique regional airport. Cork, Belfast City type. Just one hall for arrivals, departures, ticket sales, car rentals, a handfull of shops.

    So can I go straight to my gate when I get off the flight from Dublin? or will I have to go through immigration and then back through security?

    Liverpool airport is tiny. Security are ignorant pigs and seem to take pleasure in keeping people in a queue while they miss their flights.

    You can pay to go down a stairs but this doesnt even take you to the top of the security queue.

    Beware. If you have to wait to collect luggage you will be held up but get a move on and you should be ok

    No. You will have to wait for and collect any luggage, then you will have to check in for your new flight. Then go through the planks in security and then to your gate.

    Dont get me wrong its simple. But IF your first flight is delayed and so is any luggage, then the security queue, may put you late.

    I am sure you will be fine. Just get off the first plane ASAP and get checked in and then straight to security. Dont fart around and you will be fine.

    well im checked in online for my connection, and only have hand luggage so i should be alright.
