Recently got the UPC hd box. I have an automatic hdmi switch box which I have my DVD and xbox connected to. It automatically senses which appliance is active and switches to that.

When I added the UPC box, is does detect the active UPC box, but the signal doesn't get sent through.

It's defo the switch box, as I have a manual hdmi switch which I put in as a stopgap, and everything works fine, so long as I remember to switch the input on the box :-)

Can anyone recommend an automatic switch which they hav working with the UPC hd box?

It could actually be the UPC box; I know Ive seen it and several others have reported the same that when you turn on the UPC box when the TV is already on the TV does not pick up on the UPC box, and you either have to switch input source on the TV or switch the TV off and back on again.

No too sure it is the box. I've tried plugging it directly to the tv and no problem, and it works fine through the manual switch box.
Hoping someone has an auto switch that works they can recommend.
