Garda Fancy Dress?

I am currently living in the States but I'm planning on moving to Ireland in December to live with my fiance. We haven't seen each other in over a year and I wanted to surprise him with a sexy garda outfit my first night there... One huge problem, all of the fancy dress shops here in the states are "sexy police costumes" and I specifically want a garda fancy dress. I've searched online and I can't seem to find any that say "garda" on them or even look like slightly like the cops do on your side of the pond...

Can anyone give me a link to a site that might have what i'm looking for?

Please and thank you sooooo much! (you will make my man VERY happy!):D

I've never actually seen a Garda one even over here to be honest! if your looking for a good quality one try Ms fantasia's..they stock loads of costumes. To be honest you might find it hard to get a "Garda" outfit as I would reckon most of them are imported from different countries.

You probably wont be able to buy anything with 'garda' on it as it would be illegal impersonating one, I think!! I have no links for that and nothing to back it up but I just have a feeling about it.

You may have to be creative and make one, I'm sure there's plenty of gardai on google images and you could try make it up yourself?

Just get a luminous green work jacket and a secutiry guard cap.

Put some sexy lingerie underneath and boom, you're a sexy garda

thanks to everyone that responded! i would have been searching for weeks before i figured out they don't exist.. lol, but now i can have fun being creative and making my own ;)

Hahaha sorry - of all outfits to pick. Hahaha thanks for a good laugh.

Why in particular a garda? Is he a garda?

If he is, maybe you could wear some of his outfit? heck, maybe the US ones are sexier/tighter/more flattering?

Let me tell you, theres nothing remotely sexy about a garda uniform. And as far as I know, you won't be able to get a costume of the uniform because thats illegal. There are garda merchandise, but the uniform isn't part of that.

If you're REALLY stuck, I'll sell you part of my OH's uniform. 'Cept the handcuffs, keeping them ;)
    Kidding, of course ^

lol, i couldn't care less for cops.. but he loves them! his whole family for the last 10 generations were garda but his vision is too bad so he can't be one... and he has always had the biggest thing for them (garda more than american pigs) but i think i know what i'm going to do! i found a sexy cop outfit at my local porn shop and it doesn't say anything on it, its just a police hat and a black lingerie set that kinda looks like if there was more fabric a garda might wear it... i can paint the word "garda" on it and then cover up in one of those big, bright yellow jumpers they wear... throw on a pair of my sexiest heels, police grade handcuffs, a plastic baton and a pair of aviators... and i've got a sexy garda outfit ;)

oh, are aviators even what cops over there wear? i haven't seen enough to know if that is a garda stereotype:cool:

    LMAO.

    youre too cute!!

    Other half, boyfriend!

Let me assure you, there is nothing remotely sexy about the irish cop uniform. :D
If you really want to get the uniform off, make sure you get some nutella or jam dribbled on the front of the shirt.
    And lol at the shades!

i've been to ireland before, i know what the police look like... not every cop here wears aviators. but when i went to ireland i didn't really sit and chat with the garda i saw, i was too busy freaking out that i was actually in my favorite country! lol

the only time i stopped and spoke to police officers was in london, and lets be real... what irish man would be turned on by a black and tan pig? lmao

i'm confused now... was it me that offended people?

    i didn't mean to if i did.. :(

My comment was referring to a post I had to deleted because of inappropriate content. You can't see evidence of the post I deleted.

I think Storminateacup's reaction is based on the black and tan remark. It is a very sensitive part of Irish history (IMO) and they should not be confused with An Garda Siochana. Very off-topic now, but feel free to PM me if there's any confusion.

ahh okay, i'm sorry to anyone i offended.. i have no problem with any culture, i was just referring to my fiance. he has no problem with the english either, he just doesn't find english police as much of a turn-on as the irish

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,159 ✭✭✭✭phasers

The English police =/= the Black and Tans.

Be very careful about throwing that name around.

The yellow hi vis jacket things could be bought in a sports shop maybe? I see cyclists wear them. Also wherever builders get their clothes because they all wear them

You should ask him for some specifics for us, most of us seem to be baffled by the notion! I always think the uniform alone is enough reason for me to never want to become a bean garda. :pac:

    I mean this...

    129755.jpg

makes sense to me (that's the sexy cop from silent hill btw) :p

I would love to see pictures of what you manage to come up with, not on you obviously, I don't think such naughtiness is allowed on boards ;)
