My handicap is coming up as 0 on golfnet even though i play off 7 . Not that i wouldnt mind just wondering if this is the norm after a hole in one.
I had a hole in one in the same round it appeared as 0. I havent played since
Can you claim something off golfnet or the gui for a hole in one. I havent had one before so dont know the score.

It was a 7 iron 170 yards wind assisted 7th hole fota ,for the record.

Nice one well played, I've never had one myself but have come close on a number of occasions, as for the handicap showing up as 0 it's probably a glitch and will correct it self soon enough.
Afaik you get nothing from the GUI or golfnet, but you have to a buy around of drinks for the bar as your "prize" :p.

If you have golfers insuarance (usually an option when you pay your sub) you get to claim up to 250e back in bar receipts from the day of the one. Has to be a competition though

My understanding was that you get a round of drinks at the bar. Your name gets put on the club plaque for hole in one and the GUI issue you with a cert.

nice one...I'm still waiting for my first..
In some clubs you get a watch or a bottle of whiskey at the end of the year.. to mark the achievement.. round of drinks for the bar is mandatory imo
