Hi guys, I hope this is the right thread,
I'm wondering if anyone can recommend an MMA or Thai boxing club in around the Newbridge/Kildare/Curragh area? I'm just looking for one that will welcome me to train with them as i've just found out i'll be down in the area for the next 3 weeks and won't be able to get training at my own club at home.
Also I was wondering if there's an issue with clubs/instructors about "blow-ins" from other clubs coming to train? I mean does an instructor want to waste time training a student who is not gonna be sticking around and more than likely taking whatever he learned back to another club, maybe even using what he learned from them against one of their fighters in the future, or is an instructor simply willing to pass on his knowledge to whoever is willing and able to absorb it and put it to effective use?? (does that even make sense?
Anyway i remember hearing an argument between a few lads a couple of years ago regarding students from other clubs passing through their own clubs and was just wondering what peoples views are?

    Thanks in advance
    BDB

Thanks guys, but considering the time and distance of a roundtrip to any of these clubs, for the sake of an 30/40 mins on my journey i'd be as well driving home and training in my own club and having the comfort of my own bed at night, plus the companionship of my good lady :)

Just out of curiosity though, with regards to the second part of my original post, what are peoples thoughts of students from other clubs coming in and passing through different schools/clubs?
