My Laptop had a problem with its hard disc and I sent it to a shop for repair. Just got it back this evening and the have installed a new disc, without backing up any of my files or data

I have a load of photos and apps on my iphone, I have installed itunes on the laptop nut I am wearyof connecting and syncing the iphone incase it wipes everything on the phone.

    Any advice ?

You should be able to get the photos off easily as the iPhone just shows up as a camera, on mac anyway. Just close iTunes to be safe but it won't wipe it as soon as you plug it in. Apps are tied to you iTunes account, you can download them all again for free. Other than that, unless you want to go to serious efforts, you'll just have to wipe it and sync it with the new copy of iTunes you just installed.
