philips 42pfl5405h V sony KDL40EX403

    ok the philips is 42 inch with 100hz

    but the sony is 24p and a lot more, including dlne etc, abnd only 50hz


    which one would you advise both are around 600..
    is their any other contender out there??

    The 40/42 inch TV market is massive, better off getting yourself to a decent bricks and mortar retailer and comparing side by side ignoring all the spec jargon, you're unlikely to get an informative 'one Vs another' response.

    i went and had a looked at many different sets and went for the philips. It's a great tele and i'd recomend it to any one.

    fran LED are LCD the difference is the back lighting. I got a cfl one. The regular type. Careful of a sales guy who says they are different.
