Hi, Its my daughters 13th birthday soon and I was hoping to have a teen makeup party. Anybody know of anyone in the Offaly area that specialises in this? Also an indication of min and max numbers and costs would be great.

    Thanks in advance!

What is a teen make up party? Surely a local beautician or two would do the trick? You could call into local ones and have a chat, I'd say that sort of price should be negotiable. Call into a big shopping centre too and talk to the local girls on the make up counters. Would they be teaching the girls to put make up on? I'd also make sure all the parents are agreeable to it.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, I was thinking about asking a few beauticians if they do this type of thing. I like your response about checking with all the parents - my daughter does not wear makeup at all and wont be allowed to either unless on special occasions. However all her friends wear makeup all the time and even wear it to school. This seems to have been the norm since about 5th / 6th class. At least this party may teach them how to put it on correctly and pick something that suits their skin type.

There are loads of women doing the Avon and Oriflame ranges in the midlands, there's usually a contact number in the local paper as they regularly look for agents to sell their products. A quick phonecall to one of the area managers should answer your question.

Storminateacup might have the person you're looking for though.

Great idea for the party for 13 year old. How much would it cost per child?
