Opening Day..

Hey guys,
Been told by the careers guidance teacher the opening day is Saturday,
Me and a bunch of friends are going in Saturday morning just wondering if it's worth it and what to expect/do when i go in? My first open day lol:o

Expect a massive crowd of lost souls wandering around the college. There should be lots of people around giving out directions and ya should be able to fond lots of free stuff too.

There will also be talks in the lecture theaters about specific courses.
Don't forget to take a wander around Galway City if you have never before!

I'd say the open day will be awkward this year with the sh*tload of renovations going on around campus!

Ah i've walked round Galway alot but i will definitely be spending the whole day walking round

The college bar will be closed, so you'd be better off going into town to find one.

Wasn't terribly bad, got a look around
I think options west will be better cos i doubt i will go to NUIG, but i'm still unsure

Went yesterday and it looks great, but I can't decide between this university and UL =( Hopefully when I go to the UL open day it will be holy $%*& amazing or absalute S%!t3.

Apparently UL is beautiful and an amazing place to study, if UL does a course you wanna do and you get in, go to UL...much better i've been told

Anyone know if Galway has any more open days during the year? Wasn't able to go to this one and really want to have a look round.

I think they have another one sometime in the new year.. Im pretty sure they did this year anyway.

Or ya could always walk around yourself!
