Ok so I have decided I need a road bike & am wondering if anyone has anything on offer ladies wise. I have been looking at the Cube Axial Comp 2010 model but if there was something 2nd hand on offer I would definitely consider that first.
    Cheers

    What height are you?

I have a trek 2000 on adverts or I know a Giant Defy 3 Size M a friend of mine is looking to shift for €500

They look like you'd fit them quiet nicely, the Giant more than but you would be welcome to try either of them for size!

    Hi,
I don't know if you saw my advert for a Cannondale Caad5. I am also 5'4" tall and I bought this bike because of my small frame. I know for a fact that my bike would suit you well as it was meant for a lady (measuring as a 48cm frame bike). It's brand new aluminium red in colour and never ridden believe it or not! I currently have an all carbon fibre Specialized road bike and hence, for the reason to sell the Caad5. Brand new was 950 euro. I'm selling it for 600. You are welcome to look at it in Clontarf, D3 if you like.

    Peter
Do you have any photos & the specs on your bike?
    Thanks

    Hi Fi H,

I am only new to boards.ie by 2 days so I don't know how to post photos with this link yet. I did searched the net for the exact photo of my bike and I found it on " www.roadcyclinguk.com/.../2990.html". It is a 66cm red Caad5 exactly the same as my 48cm version. The gears/brakes are of Shimano Tiagra standard and the pedal is a clip-on type. I bought a pair of specialized shoe for the bike. It is a bit too big for me as I wear an european size 38 or a boy's size 5 uk. The shoes is a size 40 as it was the smallest size cycleways on parnell st carried in 2008. The shoes goes with the bike if they fit the buyer by the way.

I'm in no hurry to sell it but I guarantee you it is brand new and not a mark on it! It has been sitting in my den for the past 2 years out from the element. I bought a specialized all carbon frame bike last year and even that I have not ridden yet!!

If 50cm is too big for you then 48cm should fit you. I have short legs and cycleways had to order the 48cm ladies' frame especially for me. I don't know if road bikes go smaller than a 48cm frame? If you are 5'4" tall 48cm frame should be the smallest you should go anyway.

Listen, you can come and look at my bike and if it's not for you, just go home ! Check out the web site please !

    Cheers,

    Peter

Hi Fi lost your number, or gave up on finding you a bike last week and deleted it to be honest! Then the very next day I find a friend selling the above Giant Avail. If you haven't already found something you'd be welcome to arrange a viewing!
