Fringe S03E02 **Spoilers**

I was really worried that our first look back on the other side was going to be a monster of the week episode the way it started. It ended up doing an episode which could have been self contained but they made it work so it ties in with the overall arc furthering the story which is much more satisfying and what this show should continue doing.

I did think Bell would leave Walter MD but the message with the key didn't seem to fit so wasn't sure I was right till he turned up at Astrid's door. Does Walter now owning MD mean the fringe team are about to get a big Tech bump ? :pac:

One bad thing I will say is I don't buy the not noticing that its Alt-Olivia rather than the real one. The longer they stretch that out the less believable it will get.

Still that aside show is awesome and now pumped for the season ahead.

Solid ep. , much better then last week....but if deaf guy was, well...deaf, how did he know to write down Oliva's last name?...did he lip read from that distance?

Yeah, I think he lip read. She said her name, so he must have seen it.

Hell of an episode. Loved the twist at the end, with Walter getting Massive Dynamic. Will certainly be interesting to see what happens next

i think its blatantly obvious that olivia is different, she went to the aprtment in a suit, and her hair down, when olivia is always in FBI gear on site and has her hair wrapped up when she has prior knowledge of going on site, plus she looks very relaxed, no tension at all, also i thought it weird that she ran into the tunnel, i suppose peter is very important to her mission, or she actually fancies him,

i was surprised that walter was given MD, i wonder if nina will stay on, and what role peter will play in the running of it, is it just me or does walter seem to be coming more independant the last few episodes, hes still not all there, but he does seem to be getting used to wondering around on his own,

i wonder if the doomsday device is scattered over 2 universes or if the doomsday device in each universe,

I would guess that they still need Peter for the Doomsday device and therefore is central to her mission. I don't think she is developing feelings for him but I think she is starting to show signs that she's not convinced "this" universe is all that evil after all. Peter is a big reason for this, given that he is from her universe.

All in all, really liking this season. It has picked up perfectly from last season. I'd like to see the observers back though soon. They're such a large part of the show that I'd hate to see them slip away into obscurity.

Lads...is it fair to say that alt-verse will have the red opening credits and our-verse has normal/blue colors?

I noticed the opening credits changed color, thus i assume it's to differentiate each verse with a color.

Changed the dynamics completely. Although, we don't know for sure that Fringe will go that way, Walter is just crazy enough to not want to leave his own little lab, it'll just be slightly easier to get access to the files when needed.

Ah, yeah true. So far I'm liking the third series but yeah it's gonna be interesting how dynamics/walter plays out

Great episode. I like the way season 3 is being structured. Many episodes in previous series were self-contained episodes which did little to further the overall plot. With episodes now set in each universe, even episodes that seem to be standalone will also have the B-story of Olivias in the wrong universe.

After rewatching s2 just before s3, it's tough going back to being drip fed an episode a week!

Yeah, didn't the last episode last year have red opening credits as well?
