    i'm paying .60c per head a day,i feed myself...this few years.fella would be a friend...
he was charging others €1.20 per head per day-and he was feeding them...mix of pit silage/straw/maize!
so would be along them lines €1.20 to €1.50 per head per day...
but then again i seen a man advertising down in Cork last year..new shed,etc..think he fed them and all+checked them for you..was looking €4.50 a head per day...whether any1 ever used him or not...
i'd be amazed if they did....

Yeah 1.30-1.50/hd/day is fair enough if you do the feeding. Be careful who you let in though, you could get some messers not able to pay, then trying to pay you with the cattle etc. or taking cattle out at 3am.

Best to go down the official b&b route where the cattle are transferred into your herd no, and have to go back into his/her herd no before they can be sold. This way you have some protection as the cattle can't be sold while they are in your herd no.

Also owner of the cattle looks after vet, mineral and transport bills. Fairest way is for you to get money up front each month.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Around 1.8%-2% of their body weight in dry matter. The better the quality of silage the higher the intake.
