I have been asked to create a website / blog for an auctioneer. I have recently started learning Wordpress am comfortable with the basics - creating my own theme etc.

What I want to do is create a post caregory (Property for Sale) that has attributes like Price (input field), BER rating (dropdown list), Area/location (dropdown list), Num bedrooms (dropdown) etc

If anyone has a link to an example / tutoral on something like this that would be great. thanks

The WordPress docs explain Custom Post Types: http://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Post_Types
And there are links at the bottom to articles with examples.

TutsPlus.com has a good tutorial.

Obviously there are many other examples out there.
