    Hi, need sme help here, formatted and reinstalled xp, can't connect to web. I have no icon for local area connection although I have a boroadband and ie 1394. Eircom support didn't help, said it was a driver for network connections, but that doesn't show any alert icon. Any suggestions, is it a simple case of getting an eircom cd or something? Btw. The router is working fine, using wireless on my phone now

    Sorted thanks,no Ethernet driver
