    Hey,

I'm in a band that are looking to start doing some shows in different parts of the Country. As we're only really established/can pull a crowd in Dublin we're looking for places that will let us play for a crowd that come along to see new talent etc. We're not necessarily looking to be paid and petrol money would be much appreciated but not essential. We are an electric alternative band but are able to do acoustic slots as well. We would prefer to play nights that are free entry but again that is not essential.

It seems a good idea for every band if a list like this was compiled so if you share places that you know other people will hopefully share what they know of and we can all benefit.

I'll start off by offering my own knowledge of these sort of places:

King Kong Club @The Village, Dublin

The Sunday Roast @The Mercantile Hotel, Dublin http://www.myspace.com/sundayroast1

Joes Garage@ The Grand Social, Dublin

    The Point Village Market, Dublin.

Hopefully others can add whatever they know of below.

    Thanking you!
