Has anyone seen the trailer for the film Nowhere Boy? I'm here with the Weinstein Company and want to see what you guys thought. For those of you who haven't seen it yet, you can watch the trailer here. Nowhere Boy chronicles the formative years of John Lennon, so if you are a music fan or just love a good biopic, this will totally be up your alley. It hits theaters in the US on October 8. Think you'll be seeing it then?

This was released last year in Ireland I beleive. Saw it on DVD. Really enjoyed it. Excellent cast. Aaron Johnson did a really good job playing such an iconic figure.

Thought the relationship between John and his mother got quite wierd at times though....there was a kind of underlying sexual tension....freaked me out a bit!

Great film! I liked how they used a soundtrack of songs that would have influenced him rather than a slew of beatles/lennon songs and the one song they did use was extremely effective. Sexual tension? nah, you've just been paying too much attention to Freud.

Great film, not sure how accurate it is, but really enjoyable and one of the few portrayals of Lennon where he comes across as very likable and not just a narcissist, as most other biopics would seem to suggest.
