The palace isnt too bad, bit of a kindergarden sometimes. The snug is nice so is Seans, wouldnt be a massive fan of coppers, Gerties isnt too bad, have heard mixed views lately, the Prince is good for cocktails, karma or Q to finish!

Other than that, there is not too much, you could attempt to study some bit or the cinema maybe?!

Golden Island or Athlone town centre if you want a bit of shopping.
    The cinema beside golden Island
Bowling alley but thats a bit out of town.
Could go swimming at the leisure centre.

Fixed your post, easy to confuse people with that.

Also, the bowling alley is only about 10 mins walk from the castle, so not too far out of town.

I should get the work pitch in here too :P You could go to The NetCafé, near Marys Discount Store and play games for a few hours ;)

Ah work pitch eh, rob! In that case you could come to click and play with the touchscreen desktops. Bit out of my price range at the moment, but I want one for christmas.

    haha, o course ;)
on a tech note, not sure I'm pushed on the touchscreen desktops, have always been a keyboard and mouse person :P Although, I'd like one of the samsung galaxy tabs, they look schweet!

You could try and catch a fat man in a cardboard box.

    What you'll need
    1.Bucket of KFC chicken
    2.Cardboard box
    3.String
    4.Small piece of wood
    Method
Lay a trail of chicken out to the box an place the remainder of chicken under the box.
Prop box up with a small piece of wood
    Attach string to wood
    And wait

Disclaimer the fat man featured is for illustration purpose only, results may vary
