Well , I drove to Kinsale this evening for a meeting which it turns out was held last night. At least I had the camera in the car so I decided to take a few for the ONE/ONE challenge...When I got home I found the entry period had expired. So I fought with my trial version of Lightroom for half an hour to bring you these... C&C welcome!

Like them both, first one's cool

maybe slightly warmer tone (bit more red) might suit the second

I like them both, too. Can't really find anything to whinge about. Both nicely framed.

Lve the texture of the road in the first image. Second image makes me feel Christmassy for some reason?

I like the compsition on the first one. The reflections on the road are nice and make this a bit different to other light trail shots. Some may see the burn at the end of the road as a technical fault but I see it as the focal point. I think this shot could be improved with a crop on the top & bottom. The top just a bit above the signs and the base so that the centre line leads to the corner.

On the second shot a crop on the top would also assist the composition. It would raise the horizon to a third and thus emphasise the reflections. I might even lose the tree at the right of the frame and some of the dark to the left. Still nicely done.

Thanks for the feedback - Cabansail I cropped the blue one & you are right, it works much better. I am trialing ACDsee pro & Lightroom at the mo., & stumbled across this effect in ACDSee, which i quite like ...
