i am in full time employment and intend to stay at my job but work at my own business at the weekend. i'm just totally confused as to how to go about it! what are my best options??? do i become a sole trader or do i register as a company?? do i need register for tax separate to the tax paid by my employers?? do i need to get insurance?? please help.....

My advise is to dip your toe into the water ans see if anything bites. No point in doing anything too formal until you have ascertained that your services are required and you can get the business.
