123 always give me quotes for ridiculous cars for my current circumstances. ie; they'll quote me around €4,000 for a year's insurance on an F430, and I'm only 21.

Have you been ringing around to these brokers/insurance companies? Or have you just been using the online quoting systems? If you've only been using the online systems i'd strongly advise you to get the phone book out. Those online systems generally just give ridiculous quotes when they see 5 litre V8s!

Who was the underwriter on the 123 quote?

my ears are ringing.

i generally start the call off with "its an m5" but we stil have to give me life story before they tell me to PFO

123.ie is underwritten by travellers, who i am already with

my insurance last year was about 1300 on a 523 then another 500 for the M5 from may to october

there are other circumstances that i wont go into here as to why my insurance was loaded for a number of years. needless to say, that has finally been resolved and i have a clear record etc
travellers have been the only company that would quote me less than 3k on the 523i so i was loooking forward to a reasonable quote for the first time in years tbh
