    Failed the the test on emissions high idle.

    Co 0.63vol%. Was above 0.20%.

    Any idea what can Be done.

    Thrash it on the drive back to the test centre. A hot engine gives a lower CO reading.

    Did that.3rd gear for a good half an hour too the centre

    Had the cat replaced 2 years ago. Don't know when the sparks plug where last replaced

    Assuming there is no misfire at high idle, I'd get someone with a scanner to see what way the O2 sensor is switching. If it is not switching properly then get it replaced, preferably with a genuine one.

    What you can also do is swap the two O2 sensors around (pre cat and post cat) temporarily and see does that make any difference.

    Also if you are changing plug or leads, get the genuine ones from Fiat. I've had none genuine plugs cause problems, and non-genuine leads usually don't have the internal ballast that the proper ones do.

    How much would them leads and spark plugs cost. The manual say I can use the fiat sparks or bug the ngk ones

    Just back from the garage. They are saying that they would be wleding on a small cat in front of the other one, or there just gong too replace the big cat that cost 300
